Here are a couple of the things i thought:

1) McCoy looks like he can be the real deal. He ran the ball north/south which is a great habit to get into as a rookie. He made a couple nice shakes here and there, had a nice reception on that one screen pass, held onto the football, and overall played well. I can see why this guy can be the steal of the second round this year. Saw some Westbrook characteristics which i liked.

2) Maclin had 121 Return yards (check my numbers again, pretty sure thats semi-accurate) and a fumble. Rookie mistake on the fumble. If you don't feel like you can make a return get the hell out of the way brotha!

3) Defense looked alright. Not great, but not bad. Joe Mays stuck his head in there on a couple plays which i was glad to see. Secondary looked alright. Samuel's interference call was a little ehh, but officials are going to call it. After 5 yards, you need your skills to match up and stay close to these receivers.

4) McNabb finished alright. Had a few 3 and Outs and a couple solid drives. First game of the year so it's hard to get on anyone's case quite yet.

5) Akers got a little work in, looked like he can still boot the ball.

6) Eldra Buckley made his case for making this roster as the 3rd RB spot. I sure hope he keeps this up as Booker just doesn't do it for me.

7) Penalties. This is something that will drive any coach nuts. Lining up on the line of scrimmage is something that can be fixed, but come on! Seriously?

8) You can tell Jason peter has been off the field a little bit. He was getting beaten off the ball, and you could tell he was a tad frustrated. he needs to get on the field and continue to work, but I think he'll be fine.

anyone else have anything else to add?

Overall i thought it was good first look. The Preseason games are "individual" type games in my book, as we get to see who can do what. The score makes no difference. If we lose all 4 games this preseason we lose all 4 games, no big deal. We need to find out who can play and who can't.
