Very, Very Interesting.

Makes you wonder what the intentions are? McNabb's contact is up come 2010, so you wonder if this may be some preparation for that. Is this the option at #2 if McNabb faulters over the next 2 years? Will he be used as a Wildcat type? Will there be a potential option package for Vick? Will he take direct snaps?

These are all what if's at this point. He can start practice as early as the next practice. He will need to learn this system and get back in football shape. While he has been away from the game for so long, you must also think in the back of your head once in shape, he's a pretty fresh body.

I won't be suprised if Dungy and Co. may want to challenge Goddell's reinstatement of Week 6 in the regular season. I think if Vick remains around good people, continues positive relationships, is active in the community, and shows he can still play the game, he may be back earlier. Still, i do think he may not be ready any earlier than this time.

I see we have a couple haters, which is expected. Were a passionate fan base, and to have these reactions seems totally normal. What he did was wrong, we all know that. Does he deserve a chance? For a little over $1 Million this year, absolutely he deserves a chance. He had his problems, and he wants to be active in becoming part of the solution. We all know what he has done in the past, and we hope he may have some of that left to help this football team out...To all the haters...wait till he makes a difference in a game or even wins a game, you feelings will change.

If you want to be mad be mad at the people who wanted to bring him in. Donovan, Reid, Mayor Nutter, and local community members were interviewd about the possibility, and all of them embraced the idea, so while there are obsticles for him within the community, there is support there as well.

You never know what to expect. Hopefully, he is as remorseful as he says he is, and wants to get to work. I want to see this guy succeed, and make a difference for this team.

catch you all soon!

Bottom line – Dog fighting is considered a felony. It’s going to be very difficult to watch this guy without thinking about those dead and tormented dogs. What's done is done and nothing can be done about the animals Vick harmed. And we knew the dogs that didn’t fight were beaten, shot, hanged, electrocuted or drowned. Now is the time for Vick to make us feel warm and fuzzy about the work he will now do to help animals, as well as about the way his sport will help him find redemption, which seems to come easier to our pro athletes by the day. It would just be nice if that happens somewhere else. Is this who you want your children to look up to and be just like him?

I agree that what he did was wrong. Totally wrong. i own two dogs myself

If your a person who does not believe in second chances, then thats your opinion. I personally believe you give everyone a second chance. If you look at the support from the general community in Philadelphia, there are a lot of humane society people, local dog shelters, Mayor Nutter and so on who are willing to let the man do this.

Everyones views will change once they see him make a difference on the field and in the community. No one likes to live in the past, so it's time to see what he is going to do to change his reputation, and as he put it, begin to be a part of the solution.

Wait until next year when were all talking about Donte Stallworth being reinstated....Vick will be old news by then, and hopefully helped be a part of a Super Bowl team.
